modern Italian restaurant, clean, stylish interieur, with a bar area in the upper floor for drinks and music. starter olives were fresh, tasty and plentiful, with a large part of the ham hockey terrine smeared in beautiful cranberries. oddly enough for an Italian restaurant they had no Italian beer, only Spanish and German. the main course came, though a small part, but it was still, delicious! butternut squash and goat cheese filled tortellini pumped with the goat cheese, then covered with walnuts. other main course than deensalat; although really, the duck would have become better by warm and cut. Maybe it's been a sharper knife. the duck was perfect and plentiful boiled, would simply have been better, warm. really delicious eating and high quality ingredients. the menu was short when selecting, I felt. while other Italian restaurants pamper them with the choice and their mouthwater read the selection, this menu was very "to the point ", offers a total of about 20 dishes from the starters to dessert. some diners obviously don't need a big selection, and I'll repeat again. the food we had was delicious just one note that we found it very presumptuos and a little annoying that a 10% service fee was added to the bill without asking before. I leave no tips to be forced to leave more £5 took the glamour of this experience. the service was good, but I will judge if I go extra for it, not the restaurant!
