how could I not believe that it is the best pub in weksworth that my son would never forgive me! Apart from a time when it had a very self-destructive landwife who bent on the closure of it, for which lack of allowed in customers, it was always the best pub.

always like to visit when we are in hathersage. great selection of products and very enthusiastic and competent employees. the caffe on the top floor has a beautiful relaxed vibe and serves decent dining and proper hot drinks!

we visit three or four times a year, although it is near a two-hour trip. eating and service is always very good and the relaxed and informal atmosphere of the garden room fits us to the floor. today's visit was absolutely fantastic. not only was eating heavenly; the personal was wonderful and made our visit (my birthday) really special. the staff are always friendly, helpful and welcoming, but they really have gone the extra mile today. we were so impressed. the restaurant was well furnished in the beautiful location of bakewell. the pizzas were fantastic and the gin selection was the best I saw for a pizzeria! good atmosphere and the chef made the effort to come and ask us how the meal was. would highly recommend.

we have managed to get a last minute booking here, while at a weekend hike in the summits. what a fantastic fund please do not hesitate to book a table. hearty warm home cooked eat exactly what they need after a cold day. for our gluten and dairy intolerances and really good value for money.

Don't let go of the old diners. this place is attached to a nursing home, but it is immaculate, eating is good and cost-effective. they also use local school children and the old people don't bite!
